Account Executives - UC/VC Locations: CT, MA, NJ/NY

We are looking for experienced sales people. Candidates should have a 5 year proven history of sales success with IP based solution sales, audio/video conferencing and network systems, and be able to prepare basic system design. AEs are responsible for the maintenance of existing accounts, the development of new accounts and the introduction of new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license / Good driving record

  • ICIA and other industry certifications are helpful

On-Site Staffing Technicians
Locations: CT, MA, NJ/NY

These Techs report daily to their assigned client site and are responsible for:  the installation of audio/video technology, service/repair, meeting coordination, assisting the sales staff and training client users.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of AV installation practices and procedures, as well as AV set-up and staging

  • Videoconferencing experience

  • Cable pulling knowledge

  • Understanding the theory of Crestron/AMX control systems and be able to make programming changes

  • Understanding of Tandberg TMS and Crestron Roomview

  • Ability to read and use blueprints

  • Computer literate

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

  • Electronics background a plus

  • ICIA certifications desired

  • Valid driver's license / Good driving record

Field Service Technician
Locations: CT, MA, NJ/NY

These Techs service and repair customers' audio/video equipment on the customers' premises.  This is a fast paced service department and the candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone effectively. Techs interface with Operations, Engineering, Customers and Sales to insure that the customer receives the best possible service.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of CRT and LCD based projectors

  • Understanding of theory of Crestron/AMX control systems to make basic code modifications if needed

  • Ability to read and utilize blueprints

  • Ability to adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the job

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds

  • ICIA certification a plus

  • Valid driver's license / Good driving record

Service Agent - Technical
Location: CT

Responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding to customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner on the phone or in-person. Job holder provides Level 2 technical support via the phone for customers, as well as technical support to the Field Techs. Agents process service orders and enter them into the system, schedule calls, make proactive follow-up calls, order replacement parts, determine the appropriate pricing using factory and HB guidelines and are the liaison between vendors, customers and HB. This position services all HB locations.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of AV equipment and systems

  • Computer literate

  • Data Entry

  • Good telephone manner

Field Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: NJ/NY

This position is responsible for fully testing audio/visual (A/V) systems to insure compliance with job specifications, and A/V quality before the finished product is shipped to the customer. The jobholder subjectively evaluates the A/V quality, verifies that industry standards are met, compares product to blueprints, reads CAD project drawings, applies new technology, prepares test reports, troubleshoots and repairs issues as needed, loads Crestron and AMX Code provided by Programmer and sets up DSPs and VTC Systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with A/V, system setup, troubleshooting, control systems, video projectors

  • Proficient with computers, use of test equipment and MS Word

  • Crestron and AMX knowledge

  • Experience with Polycom, Clear One, Biamp and Tandberg

  • Experience with Digital Media
