Tips for Buying used A/V Equipment Online
 

When purchasing used AV equipment over the Internet is important to do your research. As an Ebay seller, we encourage buyers to ask questions prior to bidding to ensure a smooth transaction and satisfied customer. And although we make every effort to provide detailed information and photos in our listings, here are a few suggestions to make your eBay buying decision easier.

• Prices will fluctuate so it is important to know the high and low range for the product you are interested in. As an Ebay member, you can add items to your "watch" list and keep track of what similar items are selling for
   

• Ask about the history of the product.  For instance, was the unit used as a demo or rental unit. Also ask if the item was a returned or discontinued item.
   

• Inquire about delivery and payment options. We accept PayPal, check, money order and all major credit cards.  We also can arrange in-person pickup for local customers who want to save on shipping costs.

• If the item you are bidding on requires accessories such as connectors, cords or software, verify that everything you need is included or ask if it can be purchased separately.
   

• Seek out manufacturers to find out product information such as if a product is still serviceable or if manuals or software is still available for the equipment.
